Presentation Steps

1. Introduction: Ask pupils to touch their throat gently and hum or say "Ahhh." Ask: "What do you feel in your fingers?" (Vibrations).
2. Understanding Energy & Sound: Explain that energy is what makes things work or move. Sound is a form of energy that we detect using our ears.
3. How Sound is Made (Vibration): Demonstrate stretching a rubber band and plucking it, or snapping a ruler on the desk edge. Explain that **vibration** means things shaking or moving back and forth very quickly to produce sound.
4. Sources of Sound:
   • Human Voice: Produced when vocal cords in our throat vibrate.
   • Musical Instruments: Drums, bells, flutes, whistles.
   • Animals: Dogs barking, cats meowing, birds singing.
   • Everyday Things: Slamming doors, running car engines, falling rain.
5. Class Activity: Have pupils close their eyes for 30 seconds, listen quietly to surrounding sounds, and name what made each sound.
