- Demonstration - Bruises: Explain how applying an ice pack or cold cloth reduces swelling and pain on a bruise.
- Forbidden Practices: Warn against touching open wounds with dirty fingers or removing bandages prematurely.
- Class Activity: Pupils practice demonstrating cut and bruise care on dolls or teddy bears.

3RD TERM - WEEK 3: TREATING CUTS, SCRAPES, AND BRUISES
1. Treating Small Cuts & Scrapes:
- Tell an adult immediately.
- Wash gently with clean running water.
- Let an adult apply antiseptic.
- Cover with a clean plaster or bandage.
2. Treating Bruises: Apply a cold compress (ice pack or cold cloth) and rest the hurt body part.
3. What NOT to Do:
- Do NOT touch open wounds with dirty hands.
- Do NOT pick at wounds or peel off bandages early.
