- Identifying Plant Parts & Functions: Point to each section on the real plant:
- Roots: Below the soil; anchor the plant firm and suck up water.
- Stem: Above ground; holds the plant upright and carries water upward.
- Leaves: The green parts that make food for the plant using sunlight.
- Flowers: Colorful parts that attract butterflies and grow into fruits.
- Fruits: Fleshy parts containing seeds to grow new plants.
- Class Activity: Draw a simple plant diagram on the board and call pupils out to point and label the roots, stem, and leaves.
